Keighley Town Centre was full of music and dancing on Saturday 28th January, with free workshops all day from Yorkshire’s top performing arts school, Stage 84. The event was organised by Keighley BID and included free face-painting and balloon models.

Over 100 families came along to Keighley BID’s first event of the year, inside the Airedale Shopping Centre. There was a full programme of sessions all day with break-dancing, modern dance and singing games to try.

Paul Howard, the Keighley BID manager, said, “We’re thrilled that so many people enjoyed our theatre fun day over the weekend. Stage 84 put on a great show and many families stayed in the centre for hours trying out the different workshops.”

Building on the success of the indoor beach, the Christmas light switch on, and monthly family days in 2016, the BID is planning a whole programme of events for 2017. Find out about the latest events by following Discover Keighley on Facebook.
